Al B. Sure!
Al B. Sure is the Executive Chairman of the Health Equity in Transplantation Coalition, whose career as a globally celebrated recording artist, songwriter, producer, syndicated radio host, and health and wellness ambassador, spans more than three and a half decades.
Al B. Sure! is first a father and grandfather but he’s also a celebrated multi-award-winning singer, song writer and producer with several RIAA certified multi-Platinum albums, multiple Grammy nominations, American Music Awards and SoulTrain Awards for “Best New Artist” and an extensive list of prominent awards including the inaugural Quincy Jones “Sony Innovators” award.
He’s a significant part of developing the “soundtrack to our generation” through his with artists such as Barry White, Usher, JODECI, Faith Evans, Anthony Hamilton, Dave Hollister, Michael McDonald, Al Green, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Teddy Riley, Tevin Campbell and Quincy Jones just to name a few.
In July 2022, Al B. Sure! underwent numerous surgeries, including a successful organ transplant performed by Dr. Constance M. Mobley, MD PhD assisted by Dr. Mark Hobeika,MD, along with a number of catastrophic medical interventions and he woke up from a medically induced coma after a long two-month period.
After his incredible recovery, he has now dedicated his life to awareness and education around organ transplants and health equity for people from marginalized communities. He is champion for the disenfranchised in transplantation.
